I absolutely adored the cozy and charming decor of the hotel. The beautiful furniture and lovely wallpaper made me feel like I was staying in a classic country cottage. Additionally, the general areas of the hotel were very well-maintained and clean. As a senior woman, I really appreciated the easy accessibility throughout the property. There were no stairs to climb and everything was conveniently located on the ground floor. It made my stay very comfortable and hassle-free.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is more assistance from the children working there. While they were generally cheerful and polite, I would have appreciated some extra help with luggage or navigating the estate.

I absolutely adored the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of Laundry Cottage. The decor was charming, with beautiful stone walls and rustic furnishings that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate as a senior woman. I also appreciated the accessible features, such as handrails and comfortable seating areas, which made my stay comfortable and convenient.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have more attentive staff available on-site.

The location was perfect for us as it offered a wide selection of family-friendly activities. We went horse riding, fishing, and hiking, which kept our children entertained throughout our stay. The surrounding nature was breathtaking, and we enjoyed exploring the beautiful woodland and ruins nearby. The cottage itself was well-equipped and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable family holiday. It was a great opportunity for us to bond as a family and create lasting memories in a peaceful and serene environment.
For dads, it would be great if there were more outdoor toys or play equipment available for children.

I recently stayed at a lovely cottage in Lanark for a family holiday. The spacious and tidy cottage comfortably accommodated our family of four, and it was perfect for our furry friend as well. The country setting added to the serene atmosphere, and we enjoyed pleasant walks in the surrounding woodlands. The adjacent tea rooms served a delightful breakfast, and we had fantastic meals at the licensed bistro on the nearby farm. The cottage itself had all the necessary facilities and comforts, including a fireplace for cozy evenings. The location was ideal for nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike, with an amazing ruined mansion house nearby. our stay at this traditional-style cottage was relaxing and memorable.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The tiled bathroom with both a bath and shower was a game-changer for me. Being a guest with physical handicaps, I appreciated the convenience and accessibility it offered. It made my stay at Laundry Cottage in Lanark a lot more comfortable and enjoyable.
Personally, I found the bedroom a little small. But hey, that's just my opinion.

The tiled bathroom at Laundry Cottage was absolutely gorgeous! It had a bath and shower combo that was perfect for a warm soak or a quick rinse. As someone who loves a good self-care session, this bathroom gave me all the cozy and relaxing vibes.
Personally, I'm not a fan of the wallpaper in the bedroom. But hey, to each their own!

The cottage was clean and spacious, perfect for a family of four. We had enough room to move around without feeling crowded. the location of the cottage was great, allowing us to easily explore nearby attractions like Edinburgh and Loch Lomond. the staff at the estate were friendly and helpful, providing us with useful information about the area and making our stay enjoyable.
The internet speed, which could have been faster, especially for those with kids who require fast internet. Another drawback was the rough road leading to the cottage, with lots of potholes.
